“Another part of the problem is doctrine. Many people have felt that the world should get progressively worse before Jesus returns to save it. I am aware that the subject of reforming nations brings up the question of my end-time eschatological stance. Truthfully, my heart is so focused on “doing business and occupying” (see Luke 19:13) until He comes that I haven’t fully grappled with this issue. I want to see millions from across the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and other lands worshiping before the throne of God because of sweeping revivals. I also believe that it is my mandate as a believer to see that the nations are discipled and taught of the Lord. My preacher daddy had this stance on the end times: “Honey,” he said with a smile, “I’m not a post-millennialist or a pre-millennialist -- I’m a pan-millennialist! I believe it will all ‘pan out’ in the end!” I’m following in his footsteps on this. Others much brighter than I am and dedicated to the study of eschatology can figure that out.” [170]

Dear Cindy, I believe your desire is sincere, but isn’t it time you realized that it is panning out, and you are no longer teaching Premillennialism. Your daddy was living at a different time, and your spiritual daddy left the End-Time camp altogether. Sadly, Cindy is typical of Charismatic leaders and pastors who celebrate ignorance of Bible prophecy while at the same time promoting an agenda that is contrary. Her friend and confused Premillennial colleague Lance Wallnau considers the teaching of eschatology to be mischief.

“There is no prevailing apostolic vision to a great degree because of the mischief of eschatology.” [171]

Perhaps Lance is getting reacquainted with this mischievous message since he was recently sideswiped by Jonathon Welton. Yet at least Welton knows what he believes, and correctly asserts that Premillennialism (or “Futurism,” as they call it) and 7 Mountain conquering are conflicting messages.

“Dr. Lance Wallnau has been publishing a lot of futurism-based eschatology on his newsfeeds. As the major proponent of the Seven Mountains message, this is incongruent with the message God has given him. It will be interesting to see how this develops. It is not sensible to teach that we are to advance the kingdom and take the seven mountains, to then give them back to the antichrist. Dr. Wallnau is brilliant and we wish him the best and hope that a shift takes place before he loses the ear of his Millennial Generation followers.” [172]

I can imagine that by now you are wondering what kind of Church I see at the end of the age? Is it a powerless old hag or a victorious Church? Well, let me make it plain. I believe in the restoration of the Church, and that we should preach the same message, and walk in the same power the Early Church walked in.
